Partnering with India's Gospel Servants

Fishhook exists to see individuals and cultures transformed by the Gospel

Our mission to bring the transforming power of the Gospel to India centers in three areas of work:

1. Evangelism and discipleship

2.Care for destitute widows and orphans

3, Helping the poor become self reliant

We invite you to explore our web site to see how God is working through our ministries to bring the hope and love of Jesus to the oppressed and downtrodden and to set them free spiritually, emotionally and economically.

THE DESTITUTE FIND HOPE

Those made destitute by exploitation, family rejection, or economic status are loved, cared for,and encouraged to follow God's call for their lives. Our partners minister in healing communities including the Phoebe Home and Living Hope Home for children and youth and the Amy Carmichael Home and Sahayam Home for destitute women.

THEY’RE TRAINED & MENTORED

Men, Women and Children are  enabled to fulfill their God-given potential through academic, vocational, and theological training. They not only learn to provide for themselves but also to share the hope and love of Jesus with other people. Learn more by visiting these pages:  Sewing Training, Harvest Bible School for Women, Living Hope Theological College, Nursing School, and Ministry Training.

THEY BECOME CHANGE AGENTS

Evangelists, Pastors, and Bible Women travel on foot, bicycle, or bus to share the Good News of Jesus with those who have never heard. Many of those cared for in the homes for destitutes are called by the Lord to be trained and sent out. They are able to tell their stories in their own cultural context. They are witnesses to the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
