Of India’s 1.4 billion people, 32%, or 444 million, are under 18 years old. No different than in the rest of the world, these youth are experiencing increased addiction to mobile devices, the internet, and social media. As a result, insecurity, depression, and mental illness are on the rise.

In the coming months and years, our Indian partners will be offering outreach, small groups, and mentoring for at-risk young people across the country, giving them vision for a hope and a future.

In addition to small groups and mentoring, our team hopes to develop a rugged piece of land in the lower Himalayas that will offer a residential program for at-risk youth. We already own this beautiful, remote hilltop and have plans for a development that will welcome guests into these creation-affirming, rustic surroundings. Being part of this device-free community will provide space for young adults to enjoy nature, engage in their surroundings, to learn to use their hands, and to discover their God-given creativity.
