“ Woman, why are you weeping?” John 20:15

HAPPY EASTER!  The empty tomb of Jesus speaks even today.  God, who emptied the tomb of Jesus, wants to empty three common problems which are in us.

God Wants To Empty Us of Worry

Mary Magdalene was worried about what had happened. Experiences from the past can worry us or scatter our thoughts.  But resurrected Jesus stands before us and assures us of His glorious presence ( John 20:16)

God Wants to Empty Us of Unbelief

Thomas went through the agony of unbelief for eight days.  In our present situations we may go through the question of, IS IT TRUE OR NOT?  But the resurrected Jesus will settle this question in us. (John 20:29)

God Wants to Empty Us of Fear

The disciples were fearful of their future.  They wondered what would happen to their family, future and even job.  But the resurrected Jesus appeared and emptied the fear and filled their hearts with peace. (John 20:19)

Prayer

Thank You, Lord, for emptying worry about the past, unbelief in the present and fear of the future. Amen

Praises and Prayer Needs

• We had wonderful meetings in Chennai for three days.  The Maundy Thursday service went on with washing of one another’s feet and the Lord’s supper.  We had great services on Good Friday from 11 am till 3 pm.  Now time is 2.25 am and I am getting ready for the 4 a.m. Easter service at Mount Zion.
• Listening to the preaching of my wife Jaya, son Joel and daughter Persis filled my heart with joy. They all did a wonderful job. Praise God.
• Thank God for those of you who expressed your happiness for finding Sanjai back. and thanks to lots of people in India who called me by phone to express praises to God after hearing the story of how the Lord helped us to find Sanjai. Glory to God.
