A Message From Ghuna Kumar:
“And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalm 50:15)
Yesterday about three hundred of our children and young people gathered at the coconut grove to cry to the Lord to meet our needs. The prayers of these little orphan children was awesome. When we cry out in real anguish to the Lord, He hears and delivers us. This morning I meditated on the verses that talk about crying and calling to the Lord in the times of distress. He is the God of Graciousness
He is the God of Graciousness
“He will be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When He hears it, He will answer you.” (Isaiah 30:19) Our cry indeed causes God not only to hear, but He will graciously and generously answer. The cry of the little ones cause the mothers to act quickly. Our God’s love is incomparable even with mother’s love.
He is the God of Guidance
“I called upon the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.” (Psalm 118:5) The Lord’s promise is to keep His eye upon us and show us the way we should go. He will direct our paths to a larger vision and provision.
He is the God of Greatness
“When I cry to you, then shall my enemies turn back; this I know; for God is for me.” (Psalm 56:9) Your enemy the devil and his agents intend to destroy your reputation and the ministry of God, but God will cause the enemies to turn back.
Prayer
Dear Lord, hear my cry and give me strength to trust You for everything, for You are gracious, loving and caring. Amen
Praises & Prayer Needs
- The Lord used me wonderfully at the Keswick convention held at Kovilpatti. About 2,000 people attended. for four days of meetings. Keswick is a place in northwest England where in 1875 a convention was held for believing Christians to gather to study and search the Scripture. This pattern of annual gathering spread around the world and even to India. The Keswick conventions are conducted in India at a few places including Tiruvalla (Kerala) and Kovilpatti.
- Praise the Lord that the youth retreat in a village called Arullachi resulted in many decisions for Christ.
- Pray for some of our students who are suffering from various illnesses. Especially pray for Mangai, a student from the Northeast, who is suffering with a lot of intense pain.
- All of us gathered at our mango grove to pray for our financial needs. We are going through nervousness almost every month to see that our basic needs are met. Kindly remember us in your prayers and support.
- The prices of petrol (fuel) increased twice in the same month. As a result the prices of commodities soared up also. Kindly pray that our situations in India will be brought under control. This situation surely is especially difficult for those of us who care for orphans and the needy.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. With lots of prayers and love,
Ghuna

Dear Brother Ghuna,
I just came across your ministry. I will pray for you and your mission in India.
I was wondering if you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?
Acts 19:1-6
