Fishhook’s vision is for individuals and cultures in India and in America to be transformed by the hope and love of Jesus Christ.  As servants of the Gospel, we work to take the good news of His love to those who have never heard.

“And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

The good news about the living God will be delivered to every ethnic group on the planet before the ned of time.  The Lord will send His message of salvation into every people group for the redemption of those whose hearts are open to Him before He closes the door on opportunity.

How amazing that the Lord’s plan and purpose from the beginning was to proclaim salvation to every people group!

Let’s all ask ourselves:  What am I doing to help proclaim that good news to people who have never heard?

The reports from the workers in the “harvest fields” in India are very encouraging.  The Lord is at work to restore and redeem the lost and the broken!  So praise His Name and celebrate His mighty work with us!  Here are just a few of the reports we have received from the field in the past couple of months:

Nellai (in South India)

• A little girl named Sandhya was healed from epilepsy when we prayed for her.
• We preached the Good News to 10 people in a nearby village, and we are continually praying for them.
• A mentally ill person named Ganesan started attending church.  We are praying for healing for him. More »

• Thank God for all the prayers that went up on last Friday night in two big groups. Our people at Mount Zion prayed through out the night for even those of you who receive the Sunday Scripture weekly email and all our supporters and friends.
• Thank God for His provisions this month.
• Please pray for Kumar, one of our area leaders, who met with accident and lying in hospital. More »

• Praise God for the 35 new boys and girls admitted to Living Hope Children’s Homes
• Praise Him also for 3 new, well-qualified teachers at the Bible College
• Pray for the new students being admitted to the Bible College
• Pray that God will provide for the financial challenges we are facing
• Praise the Lord for the staff retreat on the 16th and 17th at Courtrallam
• Pray for our daughter, Persis, as she seeks to discern her next step for God’s will and plan for her
  

• Praise God that Ghuna baptized 30 people in Andhra State on the 20th.
• Praise also for the wedding he conducted for Getzi and Ramesh in Pethapouni on the 21st.
• Praise the Lord for a great healing meeting in Mugalur on the evening of the 20th.
• Pray for the 8 Living Hope Center boys and girls who are writing their 10th grade public exams the week of March 23. More »

As a result of the recent persecution of Christians in Orissa, a Gospel Friends evangelist was forced to leave his home in the state.  However, he has now settled in Madhya Pradesh where he is planting new churches.  This has allowed Gospel Friends to spread its work into a state where it has never before had a presence.  Praise God for this blessing as a result of the Orissa persecution!
