Ministry Training

Because new believers in India typically have had little exposure to Christianity in their past, providing basic theological and ministry training is crucial.

The need for training for Christian workers is huge in India. Many if not most of those whom God is calling into ministry are new believers coming from Hindu or Muslim backgrounds. So they need basic theological and ministry training.

Daniel Scholarship

One of the ways Christ Community Ministries has responded to this need is the Daniel Scholarship Program. This is a program where new converts with a calling and desire for full-time ministry are sent for short Biblical studies and training in different language areas around the country.

Every year more than 20 go through this program. There are more than 200 full-time Christian workers throughout India who are alumni of the Daniel Scholarship Program.
