Partnering with India’s Gospel Servants

Medical Clinics

Gospel Friends operates three medical clinics where over 100 patients receive care every day.

Clinics

Because 28% of Indians live on less than $10 per person per month, medical care is out of reach for a significant segment of the population.  In response to this need, Gospel Friends operates three medical clinics with a doctor and nurses or staff.  Over 100 patients receive care every day in these clinics.

Medical Camps

In addition, periodically the medical staff goes out into smaller villages to conduct temporary free medical camps in order to offer access to medicines and the Good News of Jesus Christ in more remote places.  For example, in April 2008 a Gospel Friends medical camp in the village of Panaiyur treated 800 patients.  Many of them were brought in from surrounding villages.  Every year over 5,000 people are treated in Gospel Friends medical camps.
