Fishhook wants you to donate to the work our partners are doing in India because you heard a compelling story and are convinced that we can effectively address the expressed spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Don’t give because you feel guilty or because we may have unintentionally exploited a needy Indian as we shared a story with you. We agree with the Apostle Paul when he wrote to the Corinthians saying, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7, TNIV). Please, only give if you feel led to give by the Holy Spirit and then you will certainly be blessed with a joyful heart!
