For peace between various political and religious factions within India
For peace between Pakistan and India (see Ending the Zero-Sum Game)
Food: For increased production and productivity in India’s agricultural sector so that food prices would ease and there would be plenty of commodities to feed the poor
Comfort: For families and friends of those killed in two major train crashes (May and July 2010) in eastern India.
Christian Workers: Pray that God would raise up workers to preach, teach, mentor, pray, love, nurture, give and go. “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.’ “ (Matthew 9:37,38)
